Hi! I will try to describe myself without any embellishments. I am a 54 year old Paramedic working on an emergency ambulance in Buckinghamshire in England. Prior to working in the Ambulance Service I was a nurse in St. Thomas's Hospital in London. I have in fact worked in the caring professions for the whole of my working life. I was divorced in 1986 and raised my two sons alone in the ensuing years. I am told by my more popular friends that I look a lot younger than my chronological age. I am an active sort of person and enjoy life to the full, Having said that I do like a quite night at home with a good film or music and a bottle of wine. I have been involved in a few relationships since my divorce, but that special spark was not there. I am however the eternal optimist and am sure that the special person for me is out there somewhere. Someone that I can share the ups and downs of life with. I have a positive outlook on life and would want a partner that is prepared to be forever young in attitude with me. I will reply to all communications and am prepared to travel anywhere in the world for the right person. I suppose that I should mention the more mundane subject of financial security, I am a home owner and financially well placed. I do not however consider this fact to be of prime importance, as a close loving relationship is of far more importance.
